LineBite - Racing Notes is a season companion for open-wheel racing fans — the full calendar, every classification, driver and team ladders, form charts and a personal race book where you record what you thought of each round.
The whole point of LineBite is memory. Results are everywhere; what disappears is what you actually thought at the time. Write three lines after the flag and, by the end of the season, you have a record of the year that no results table can give you.

Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy for LineBite - Racing Notes, an iOS app. It is written in plain English because there is not much to hide behind.
No account, ever
LineBite - Racing Notes works without an account, without registration and without any sign-in. There is nothing to create and nothing to log into.
No personal information collected
The app does not collect, transmit or sell personal information. We do not build a profile of you and we have no server holding your data.
Racing data
Season calendars, classifications and standings are requested from a public open motorsport results API. Those requests carry no personal information about you.
Your race book
Your race book entries, ratings and any photos you attach are stored only in the local storage of your device and are never uploaded.
Camera and photo library
The camera and photo library are accessed only when you choose to add an image to your own note. Nothing is read or copied otherwise.
No ads, no analytics, no tracking
There are no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics and no tracking of any kind. The app does not use your location, contacts or microphone.
Independence
The app is an independent fan-made companion and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any racing series, team or organiser.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app erases all local content permanently.
Changes to this policy
If the policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page.
